No matter where you look inspiration can be found. The hardest part is getting started. When it comes to music, if you put in effort and dedication it becomes almost impossible to fail. Practicing these creative strategies will introduce more inspiration into your daily life and enable you to achieve whatever it is you set your mind to.
What is classical music? (Geet, Sangeet, Gazal, Bhajan etc)
It does not have a rock beat. It is not meant to be the background of a TV show or a movie. It does not even need words to mean something.
Classical Music Connects inside us; it touches feelings that words cannot describe. It takes listeners to another place.
Often people feel like they cannot understand classical music because they do not know anything about chords or flats or 64th notes or what a tutti is. They are missing the point. The heart of this type of music is not in the technical details. After all, you do not need to know what a carburetor is to enjoy riding in a car. The meaning is in the experience.
Does it make you feel something? The truth is, if the music touches you, then you understand it.
Anyone can enjoy classical music.
Some music is easier to relate to the first time you hear it. Some music is deeper and may not grab you on first blush. If you do not feel a thing the first time you hear a piece, give it another listen. Think about when you first meet someone, you may not understand him or her at all. If you give that person another chance, however, he/she may turn out to be one of the most interesting people you have ever met.
Similarly, when you discover a new piece of music, you many need to listen to it several times before you form a connection with it. The more you listen, the deeper that connection becomes.
Another important aspect of music is that each piece develops. What does that mean? A person evolves and grows from the day he is born. He is the same individual from day one, but he looks a little different, feels a little different and probably knows a lot more. That is because he has been developing. It is the same way with classical music.
When it comes to creating something new, getting started is the hardest part. Having a system in place that guarantees you accomplish something each day, no matter how small, is a great way to find inspiration and build something new and exciting. If you’re ever stuck or feeling bogged down, it’s important to build momentum that keeps you moving forward. Sticking to a schedule and trying to create something every day will provide the momentum you need to finish your projects and direct your energy towards something positive. For example, if you want to have an album completed in 1 year it can be quite daunting if you think you need to finish all 12 songs at once. But if you say to yourself you will work on 1 song each month, not only will the process go by smoother, but you will find it a lot easier to accomplish something worthwhile each day.
Story Of My Life: Playing keyboard and more
When I am playing the keyboard I can freely express myself through my music. I want my audience to embrace the sound of the music and feel the calmness that it brings. Music is a form of self-expression for me. Just as an artist paints a picture with the brush I use my figures to create the song that I am playing. So now on to my journey while learning to play the keyboard.
I began Playing classic music at the age of Three years old. I don’t remember playing the keyboard at that age but my family told me the story one day. When I was Three years old my grandmother took me to church and set me up on the keyboard bench and let me beat and bang on the keyboard. She told the pastor that I would one day grow up to play the keyboard and that is just what happened. I attended the Public School for the Blind when I was seven years old because I could not see the blackboard in Public school due to the fact that I am legally blind. I took keyboard lessons for several years while in school. My lessons included music theory, sight reading, and learning to play songs. My lesson material had to be enlarged so that I could see it. I learned to play classical music which was a trial for me because there were a lot of notes to play. Most of the time I memorized the notes one line at a time and then played them. I will never forget my senior year of high school because my final grade for my keyboard class was to perform a keyboard recital in the genre of classical music. Well, I passed with an A for my final grade. Of course, that was about thirty years ago lol! I could not even attempt to play a classical music composition now.
Through the years after high school I learned how to play the keyboard by ear while listening to all kinds of keyboard players. I guess my favorite genre is gospel music such as Praise and Worship, Traditional geet sangeet, bhajan, and Southern gospel. My music talent has led me to play for several gospel groups through the years. It was a great experience for me. Because being in those groups allowed me to meet some of my favorite Southern gospel groups. These are experiences that I will never forget. I am so thankful that I am blessed with the talent that I have. I have found that my music is very inspiring to those around me. It brings me so much joy to be able to use my talents to bring a little happiness to people’s lives.
For years I have searched for keyboard lessons and harmonium notes feel like similar startup key structure also that I could take on line. Well, I found a few and tried them for a while, but just was not satisfied with the results.
